Our Heroes' Tree
Celebrating our Armed Forces

Throughout November, the Twin Falls Public Library will be hosting the Our Heroes’ Tree program, a nationwide initiative that allows communities to come together and celebrate the names and stories of family members, friends, and neighbors who have served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

During the program, the library welcomes community members to decorate a remembrance ornament for the Our Heroes’ Tree to honor the legacies of American servicemembers in our community. Ornaments made for the Our Heroes’ Tree program are made for all branches of service in the United States military, active duty, Guard and Reserve, and all generations. Templates for ornaments are available at the Library Circulation Desk.

The Our Heroes’ Tree program was founded by Stephanie Pickup and Marlene Lee in 2005 as a way for communities to honor veterans and current servicemembers. For more information contact the Twin Falls Public Library at 208- 733-2964.
