Bring your elementary-aged child to the library on January 3 between 4-6 and we'll put out LEGO bricks so they can create to their heart's content!

Ready, Set Kindergarten! is a program for kids who are entering kindergarten in Fall 2023. Join us for a kickoff for the program on January 4 from 10am-12pm!  Learn more about the program, meet the teacher, and get a free family STEM kit!  Classes start on January 11

Teens in 6th–12th grade, join us to learn some important life skills! This week, KZ from Twin Falls Sewing Center will teach us the basics of sewing and clothing repair.

Each storytime features a letter, books that are a little longer and a little more complex to get us ready to sit in a classroom, and lots of fun rhymes and songs. After storytime, we play!

We can't put the title here due to licensing restrictions, but this month we're watching an American comedy-drama film directed by George Cukor. The film is based on a play Clare Boothe Luce's 1936 play that shares it's title!

Families will build articulated grabbers and then innovate modifications to pick up different kinds of items.

1pm – 3pm: Storywalk in City Park: Read a winter story as you walk through City Park, then warm up with some free hot chocolate or apple cider.

We'll teach you how to play the featured game, or you can pick one from our collection, Black Dragon Gaming's demo collection, or bring your own game to share! All attendees are eligible for a prize drawing. This month's featured game is "Dominion." Ages 12+

Need help learning how to use the computer? In this class, we'll cover the basics of desktop navigation, internet browsing, word processing, and more! We'll meet at 10:30 am in the Program Room. Contact Logan at the Computer Assistance Desk for more information. 

Come to the library from 10am to 2pm for a family Lunar New Year celebration. We'll have lots of fun activities and games to play.

Every month, drop in for Saturday Crafter-Day. In this program, Melody will help you make a new creation every month! This month, create you own Beachscape Candle Holder out of a wine glass. Be there on time so you can complete your craft! The Library will supply everything you need to make the craft. Attendees are eligible for a prize drawing! This program is for patrons aged 16 and up.

Bring the whole family for a fun puppet show!

City of Rocks Park Rangers will be here January 28th to teach you the basics of snowshoeing! They'll cover the equipment you need, where to get it, where to snowshoe in Southern Idaho. Then, join us in the park for some hands-on practice (equipment is limited, BYO snowshoe if possible)! Ages 12+.
