Calling all young adventurers in 3rd -6th grade! Join us to play Dungeons & Dragons!  We’ll meet Saturday, August 13th for a kid-friendly D&D adventure.  Never played before? That's okay! We’ll teach you how to play, and we'll have everything you need to get started. Doors open at 11 am, gameplay starts at 11:30 am, and we play until abouty 2:00 pm (no later than 2:30 pm). We will be playing Dungeons & Dragons 5.5e (also known as 2024 D&D). 

Reminder: Parents of kids 8 and under must remain in the library while their child is also in library.

Every month, learn a new tech skill or software tool at the Twin Falls Public Library! This month, we'll learn how to design and modify objects to be 3D printed at home or here at the library. Anyone can come and learn how to use free software (tinkerscad, freecad, blender) to make their imagination come to life. No experience or special knowledge required to become a maker.

Drop in for an open house in partnership with the Magic Valley Art Council! In August & September, we had two, four-week art classes featuring collage & watercolor. Come see some of the completed pieces, see what our participants learned, and enjoy some light refreshments! Oct. 20, 5 PM - 7 PM.

We're  celebrating our new, circulating puzzle collection at the library with another puzzle night! This will be a low-key relaxing night where you can come and work on puzzles we'll have out, explore (and check out) puzzles from our new collection, and bring in your old puzzles to trade with others. Visit the Twin Falls Public Library on October 22nd at 6:30 PM for a night of short stories & poetry. Come and share your own writings or your favorite pieces by other authors, or just come to listen! Sign-up is first come, first to read. 5 minute time limit per reading (multiple readings are allowed, depending on time), no outside amplification or music allowed. Show off your costume at City Park! Read & Treat is a Not-So-Spooky Storywalk through City Park. Community organizations will be there to hand out candy and treats along the path! Then, stop by our Fall Photo Station in the original Library Entrance. Drop by anytime between 11 am and 1 pm on October 24th!
