Powerful Tools For Caregivers (with Idaho Community Cares)

1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Adult Program

We're excited to welcome Idaho Community Cares as they present Powerful Tools for Caregivers in partnership with the Idaho Commission on Aging. This is a six-week class series designed specifically for caregivers. Classes are from 1 pm - 3 pm every Wednesday beginning October 8th. This class comes with materials, so registration is required. Participants will learn practical tools and strategies including:

  • Tips to reduce stress
  • Improving self-confidence
  • Communicating more effectively with the care receiver
  • Navigating tough decisions and family dynamics
  • Finding and using community resources
  • Making tough decisions

Caregiver burnout is real – this program provides support and skills to help caregivers take better care of themselves.

Each session builds on the last, so registration is for the full six-week series. The workshop and all materials are provided at no cost to participants. Call or email Jenny Melka jennifer.melka@a3ssa.com | 208-593-0002.
