StoryWalk

Discover the Joy of Reading and the Outdoors with Our StoryWalk® at Thomsen Park!

The Twin Falls Public Library is thrilled to introduce you to our permanent StoryWalk®, located along the trail at Thomsen Park. Whether you’re looking for a weekend outing with the family or a relaxing solo stroll, our StoryWalk® invites you to combine reading with the fresh air and natural beauty of our community.

How It Works
As you wander along the path, you’ll come across a series of displayed pages from a specially chosen picture book. Simply follow the route and read along—by the time you reach the end, you’ll have enjoyed an entire story! Even better, we switch out the featured book every month, so you and your family can look forward to a brand-new reading adventure time and again.

A Community Effort
This project was made possible with funds provided by the Twin Falls Public Library Foundation with memorial donations in honor of Ann & Dalmiro Alvarez, and with the support of Twin Falls Parks & Recreation. This joint commitment to literacy, health, and community has helped turn our vision of an outdoor reading adventure into a reality. We are grateful for their partnership and can’t wait to welcome you to this free, year-round experience.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Encourages Literacy: Families can enjoy a fun, low-pressure way to read together.
  • Promotes Wellness: Walking the trail offers gentle exercise for visitors of all ages.
  • Builds Community: Share the magic of storytelling with friends, neighbors, and fellow book-lovers.
