If you’re looking for something to do with your little ones during the week of our construction closure, you are in luck! We’re bringing you another Stories Under the Stars at the Faulkner Planetarium! Join us at the Faulkner Planetarium on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6pm for two of our favorite picture books celebrating springtime. The books will be projected over the planetarium screen, giving you a special opportunity to interact with the artwork as you and your little ones listen to the stories. Afterward, you’ll be treated to a tour through the night sky. We hope to see you there!

From April 20 - April 25,the Twin Falls Public Library will be closed as we begin a large recarpeting project.
During this time, holds will still be available for Curbside Pickup or Home Delivery, and Bookmobile Services will continue as normal from 10 AM - 6 PM.
Bookdrops will still be accessible, and items will still be due.
The Idaho History Room & Non-Fiction Section will be closed to the public from April 13th - May 2nd. See a librarian if you need help finding an item.
In the weeks before and after, items may be shifted or moved as we clear the way for the new carpet, and certain areas in may be closed to public access. Ask a librarian if you need help finding an item.

Help us with our How-To Fair to kick off Summer Reading!
Do you have a special skill to share with others? A special talent or trick you'd like to teach to the community? Help kick off the Twin Falls Public Library’s Summer Reading Program - Plant A Seed, Read - on June 5th, from 5 - 7 PM at our How-To Fair!
We’re looking for people like you to demonstrate a short skill, activity, or “life hack” in about 5–15 minutes. Whether you can teach a quick sewing stitch, tie a tie, perform a simple card trick, patch a hole in the wall, show some basic self-defense, change a tire, or anything else, we’d love to have you share your know-how!
Toddler Time is designed for children in the 18mo to 3yo age group. We know that this age group gets the wiggles, so there are lots of opportunities for movement and books that are appropriate for their attention span followed by playtime!

Ready, Set Kindergarten! is a program for kids who are entering kindergarten in Fall 2026. Each week, kids will earn a new letter, a kindergarten readiness concept, work on numbers, participate in hands-on activities, and parents will receive a worksheet to take home with suggestions of activities to do with their children.
